Meet The Founder
RONNEY JENKINS
Born in Los Angeles and raised in Oxnard, Ronney Jenkins made history before he ever stepped on a professional field. On November 9, 1995, at Hueneme High School, he rushed for 619 yards and 7 touchdowns in a single game against Rio Mesa — a national high school record. He scored 46 of his team's 52 points that night, including a field goal and extra-point kick.
After standout seasons at BYU (WAC Freshman of the Year) and Northern Arizona, Jenkins signed with the San Diego Chargers as an undrafted free agent in 2000. He quickly became one of the NFL's most electric kick returners — leading the entire league in kickoff return average in 2001 and becoming the Chargers' all-time leader in kickoff return yards with 3,997 in just three seasons.
Opening Bard Boys was not simply a business decision — it was a deeply personal one. The same dedication and excellence that defined his football career is now applied to creating a compliant, welcoming, and community-centered dispensary experience.
